Jose Antonio García Pulidomestrelab
Jose Antonio Garcia was born in Ourense in 1979, where he started his studies in the University of Vigo. He began his career working as a systems engineer at the same he was completing his studies. He moved to the Open University of Catalunya (UOC) where he received both M.Sc. and B.Sc. in Computer Science. Furthermore, three years later, he also earned an M.Sc. in Control Systems Engineering from the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and The National Distance Education University (UNED). He was in multinational companies like Indra and SICE working to big organizations, like, the Galician Government (Xunta of Galicia), and the Ministry of Environment. He joined to MESTRELAB RESEARCH in January 2015 to start working in scripting, automation and integration projects. Currently, he is also carrying out his PhD thesis in computer vision and artificial intelligence.
In this sense, he has already got his first paper titled "Recognition of a landing platform for unmanned aerial vehicles by using computer vision-based techniques" available at http://dx.doi.org/10.1016/j.eswa.2017.01.017.
