Senior Scientific Director
I joined Mestrelab in September 2022, as part of the Strategic Application and Products group. I am a computational physical chemist by training and my PhD and early research career were focused on the theory and simulation of liquid crystal phase transitions.
In 2000 I moved into the field of medical image analysis, more specifically Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Spectroscopy before coming full circle back to chemistry but in the field NMR spectroscopy and in particular method development and liquid state theory.
In 2011 I joined a team creating a new benchtop NMR in a methods development role and this quickly expanded into an application and product management role.
I have special interests in signal processing and data analysis and using the tools of the trade to develop practical real-world applications.
I am very excited to be working with the dynamic and enthusiastic team at Mestrelab and to be able to draw on the wealth of knowledge and experience across the team. I look forward to meeting and working with new and existing customers.
I am based in UK and will primarily be involved in projects in Europe. I look forward to helping you find ways to make your life both easier and more productive!
